South Hull Park Kids’ Gardening Workshops

What:  Our own Master Gardener Cheryl McKiernan, a retired teacher and South Hull neighbor, will conduct two relaxed workshops on gardening for South Hull District Kids. Other adults will be present to help.

Learn how to prepare a raised bed

Identify plants and their parts.                                                            

How to care for growing plants.

Plant seeds you can watch grow.

Make iced tea from mint growing in the park.

Enjoy a treat of watermelon, iced tea, and goodies

Earn points toward Park Ranger Prizes.  

You may attend one or both events.

When Saturday May 23 and Saturday June 13 from 10 .m. to 12 p.m.

Where: South Hull Park & Gardens

            Corner of Wilmington Rd. and Plymouth

Cost:    Free

Who Can Attend: Kids 4 to 16. Parents or guardians are warmly invited as well. Have a cool drink in the shade of the gazebo, catch up with friends, or join the fun! Children under six must attend with a responsible adult. No pre-registration required.
